Drug Arrest

On 05/30/2019 while working seat belt "Click it or Ticket" enforcement Deputy Alex Tuck initiated a traffic stop on a silver Ford Ranger at Jordan's Quick Stop on Falls Blvd. for both front seat occupants being unrestrained. During the traffic stop Deputy Tuck learned the driver identified as Jamime Benson (36, Roland) was operating on a suspended drivers license. The passenger who was later identified as Mitchell Null (43,Wynne) exited the vehicle and he began to flee on foot . Deputy Tuck pursued the suspect on foot for approximately 3 blocks before he was apprehended. During the foot pursuit Mitchell Null began to throw evidence in the area of Canal St. and Harris St that was later identified as controlled substances. The Wynne Police Department assisted in the arrest. .
