The Cross County Sheriff's Office and the County Judge's Office would like to thank all of the Cross County citizens who exercised their right to vote. The 1 cent sales taxed passed due to the great citizens in this county who understood the need for a new jail. My Office will continue to strive to give you respectful service in a timely matter. I truly thank each and every one of you. The tax will not take effect until around October and we plan on breaking ground on the new facility in January 2020.
