Pair of Methamphetamine Arrests

On 01/19/2019 Sgt. Clanton and Deputy Wilson Initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was operated by Christopher Davis (30, McCrory) for a traffic violation. Christopher Davis was placed under arrest for a suspended D.L. and during the search of his person Deputies located 0.6 grams of methamphetamine inside a tobacco container. Christopher Davis was transported to the Cross County Jail awaiting a bond hearing on 01/22/2019. Also located inside the vehicle was Ashley Modlin who was issued misdemeanor citations for possession of a schedule VI controlled substance as well as for Misdemeanor drug paraphernalia.

On 01/20/20119 Deputy Hylle and Deputy Cordell made a traffic stop on Benjamin Coulter (48, Wynne) after they confirmed he had an outstanding Circuit Court Warrant. During the course of the arrest Deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle deputies located 0.6 grams of methamphetamine and a partially smoked marijuana cigar. Benjamin Coulter was arrested and transported to the Cross County Jail to await a bond hearing on 01/22/2019. The charges for both individuals are listed below.
