DRUG ARREST

On 09/16/2018 Sgt. Clanton and Deputy Chapman initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to use a turn signal. During the course of the traffic stop Ramone Scott was placed under arrest after probable cause was found. A subsequent inventory search prior to towing  the vehicle revealed  8 grams of methamphetamine. The Cross County Sheriff's Office seized $1,339.00 in cash as well as Scott's vehicle.
