Theft Arrest

On 08/22/2018 Cross County Detectives arrested Wesley Van Stultz in connection with the same theft. Stultz has been charged with the same crimes and will receive a bond at a later date.

On 08/19/2018 Deputies with the Cross County Sheriff's Office arrested Joseph Avellino of Wynne. After numerous burglaries at a particular location occurred. Surveillance equipment was installed and showed Avellino and another suspect taking items that did not belong to them.Deputies went to Aveliino's residence and located the four wheeler that was just stolen and arrested Avellino.

On 08/20/2018 Detectives with the Cross County Sheriff's Office obtained a search warrant for the residence and multiple other items were recovered during the search. This is still an ongoing investigation and multiple other arrest's are pending.
