    "Crawfish and Chronic"  Drug Arrest

On 05/03/2018 Off Duty Corporal Kendole Boykin was working off duty at Hylle Crawfish Farm in Cross County. A male later identified as "Scott Schillig, 61 Groverstown Indiana" arrived to purchase crawfish. Scott Schillig placed coolers on the ground to put the crawfish in. Schillig then opened the coolers and one of them contained several vacuum sealed bags of marijuana. Corporal Boykin contacted on Duty Deputy Corporal Brock Hathcock and Schillig was placed into custody without incident. Also located in the suspects vehicle was two firearms and $7,366.00 in cash. The cash was seized as proceeds believed to be from trafficking narcotics. The marijuana had an aggregate weight of 3.6 pounds.Scott Schillig has been charged with the below crimes and will make a first appearance in court on 05/04/2018 to have a bond set. Schiliig is currently being held at the Cross County Jail.
