                                                DRUG ARREST

 

On 04/02/2018 Deputy Tuck with the Cross County Sheriff's Department received a call to go to the area of Highway 64 and Highway 193 in reference to a stolen vehicle out of Kansas. Deputy Tuck observed the vehicle at a residence on Highway 64. The Deputy made contact with the suspect who already had a warrant for theft out of Kansas. The suspect was identified as Eric Shane Harper (Kansas) was placed into custody. While inventorying the vehicle prior to towing Deputy Tuck located 4 grams of methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia. Eric Shane Harper is charged with the below crimes and will later have an extradition hearing to face his charges in Kansas.

 

Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance "meth" (Class C Felony)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class D Felony)
