THEFT ARREST

On 03/26/2018 Sgt. Cantrell and Deputy Tuck were investigating an unrelated theft. When Sgt. Cantrell arrived at the suspect's residence he observed a car hauling trailer that he recognized. Sgt. Cantrell called who he believed the owner of the trailer to be and it was confirmed that the trailer had been stolen but had not yet been discovered. The Deputies interviewed the suspect who was identified as Patrick Powers and arrested him for the theft of the trailer.  Patrick is currently being held in the Cross County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
