Burglary Arrest

BURGLARY ARREST
On January 19th 2018 the Cross County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to a residence on Highway 163 North in reference to a residential burglary. While on scene Cpl. Hathcock and Det. Sgt. Nichols gathered evidence that developed Nakia Gibbs as a suspect. Deputies and Detectives went to Gibbs residence and searched the property with the assistance of Wynne P.D. Located inside the property were the items they were stolen from the residential burglary as well as a handgun that was stolen from Jonesboro. Nakia Gibbs was arrested without incident and charged with the below crimes.
Residential Burglary (Class B Felony)
Theft of Property Over $1000.00 (Class D Felony)
Possession of Firearm by Certain Person (Class B Felony)
Theft by Receiving "Firearm" (Class D Felony)
Theft by Receiving under $1000.00 Class A Misd.)
