ARREST


During the week of 09/25/2017 the Cross County Sheriff's Office received a report stating that Veronica Blake (34 Wynne) had sexually assaulted 3 juveniles in the past 3 months. During the course of the investigation Detectives with the Sheriff's Office discovered there were 6 more juveniles involved in this case bringing the total to 9. The Arkansas State Police are also assisting in the investigation as it is ongoing.  On September 28th Veronica Blake turned herself in to the Cross County Sheriff's Office without incident. Veronica Blake has been charged with the below crimes and has a first appearance date of today where a bond will be set.

(6 Counts)    of Rape    (Class Y Felony)

(6 Counts)   of Incest    (Class C Felony)

(7 Counts)   of Computer Child Pornography (Class B Felony)

( 1 Count)    of Sexual Indecency With a Minor ( Class D Felony)
