Caleb Brewington arrested on Felony Charges

On 08/13/14 at approximately 10:45 a.m. Deputy Mason observed Caleb Brewington, age 28 of Wynne standing outside of Union Convenience Store located at West Union and 4th street. Deputy Mason had a child support paper for Brewington. Deputy Mason pulled into the parking lot and observed Brewington run to the front of a vehicle in the parking lot. Brewington bent down and threw something that had orange on it under the vehicle. Deputy Mason asked Brewington to stop where he was he had to talk to him. Deputy Mason retrieved the syringes and advised Brewington of his Miranda Rights. Upon patting Brewington for weapons he felt a vile of medicine in his right front pocket. Deputy Mason asked Brewington if he was diabetic and he replied no. The vials had liquid pain medicine in them. Brewington was arrested and transported to the Cross County Jail.

Brewington was charged with Possession of a Prescription Drug without a Prescription and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

BOND was set at $5,000.00
