Drug Distributors in Parkin arrested on Multiple Felony Charges on Thursday, July 1, 2010

Over the past four months members of the Cross County Sheriffs Department, 1st Judicial Drug Task Force and the Arkansas State Police have been conducting a joint investigation targeting drug distributors in the Parkin, AR. area.

On July 1, 2010 Agents served arrest warrants and search warrants for four individuals in the Parkin, AR area identified as the following:

MICHAEL ROBINSON, 38, of Parkin, AR. was arrested for Delivery of a Controlled Substance warrants and found to be in possession of approxmately 7 pounds of marijuana, AK-47 rifle and drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $400,000.00

JERMAINE PATTERSON, 36, of Parkin, AR. was arrested on delivery of a Controlled Substance warrants and found to be in possession of Crack cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $50,000.00

CARLOS COLLINS, 33, of Parkin, AR. was arrested on delivery of a Controlled Substance warrants and found to be in possession of nine marijuana plants, approximately 3 ounces of marijuana and a 9mm pistol. Bond was set at $50,000.00

COREA WELCH, 34, of Parkin, AR. was arrested on delivery of a Controlled Substance warrants. Bond was set at $100,000.00

Sheriff Smith would like to thank the 1st Judicial Drug Task Force and the Arkansas State Police for their assistance in this investigation.
