The Warrant Page has been added to the website. If a person has an outstanding warrant witih Cross County, there name will appear, what they are charged with, the date the warrant was issued and the Bond Amount.
This new feature will allow persons to view digital photographs of many wanted persons shown on the warrant list. If there is a camera icon at the end of the person's name, you are now able to place your cursor over the camera icon and a digital image of the wanted person will pop up and appear on the monitor. The picture will be the one taken at the latest jail booking for that wanted person. Not everyone who has an outstanding warrant will have a picture associated with their name, as that person may have no previous jail booking photos on file. The Sheriff's Office believes that having photographs associated with persons on the warrant list will result in even more tips and information from the public as to the whereabouts of some of these wanted persons.
This new feature is a continuation of the ongoing efforts of the Sheriff's Office to work cooperatively with the public to locate offenders and hold them accountable.
