Elmareo Speed Arrested on Multiple Felony Charges

Elmario.jpg  Elmareo Speed, age 28 of Wynne, AR was arrested on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 10:45 p.m.

A search was obtained and executed on the address of 212 Tennessee Street in Wynne, AR.  The search warrant  was for stolen items, weapons and drugs. Search warrant was executed by the Cross County Sheriff's Office and four Wynne Police Department Officers.  The shed at  the end of the driveway at the above address was occupied by Mr. Speed. Sgt. Jonathon Fought knocked on the door of the shed, announced his presence, that he was there for a search warrant and occupants needed to step outside.  The door was opened, Elmareo Speed was at that detained and advised of the Search Warrant by Sgt. Jonathon Fought.  There was a white female, Heather Huddleston,  also in the structure, she was also detained.   Sgt. Fought, Officer Steven Hallmark and Deputy Brock Hathcock entered the shed and searched it.  Officer's found numerous drug paraphernalia, scales and a white rock like substance know as ICE or Crystal Meth which weighed at a total of 4 grams.  Also in the residence was a crossbow and a machete.  Elmareo Speed was arrested for the following charges:  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Class B Felony, Possession with the Purpose to Deliver a Class B Felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a Class D Felony and Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms a Class Y Felony.

Mr. Speed's First Appearance was on Monday, April 10, 2017 before District Court Judge Mike Smith. Bond was set at $150,000.00. He has a Circuit Court Date of May 17, 2017.
